I am Felix Mao, also known online as maoxunxing and 毛毛星.

I am a senior front-end engineer with more than 10 years of experience in big tech companies including NetEase and Alibaba. I write about AI tools, AI coding, indie hacking, creator workflows, personal knowledge systems, and long-term investing.

I write down recurring questions from work, learning, and everyday life: how to use AI, how to write better software, how to make content, how to think about investing, and how an ordinary engineer can find a steadier rhythm in a changing world.

I study how AI lowers the cost of building products, writing content, automating workflows, and distributing ideas as a solo creator or small team.

AI coding and frontend engineering

As a long-time web frontend engineer, I test tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Vercel, and Hugo in real development workflows.

Creator workflows

I publish and experiment across WeChat, Xiaohongshu, YouTube, Substack, and this website. I care about turning raw ideas into articles, videos, covers, publishing packages, and long-term accumulation.

Long-term investing and systems thinking

I write about index funds, technology ETFs, Bitcoin, cash flow, long-term compounding, and practical asset allocation for ordinary people.
